For the past 2 months we have been dealing with buying a new home. I'm super happy that we found one, as I am ready to get out of the rental home we've had since we moved to this new city.
The home is in the process of being built. It's a spec home and not one that we asked them to build. Since it is still in the building stage, we are able to pick out most everything that will be going into it. I really had no idea just how much that was until now. :P
So much time has been spent picking out flooring, paint, lights, counters, etc. etc. The frustrating part is that I can only hope that the vision in my head turns out to be good in reality. I always second guess myself. Seriously, sometimes I feel like I'm riding a crazy train! Did I pick right? Will it look good? Ugh!
From the time-line given, the house should be finished around mid February. Please oh please let everything turn out perfect (or at least close to it). :|

So, I've been a bit busy today trying to play "catch-up" on washing clothes and throwing a few dishes in the dishwasher to get cleaned. Like any wife and mom, sometimes I feel like the moment I turn around, there is more waiting on me to take care of. A never ending process. :P
Of course, as usual, I spent a bit of time playing World of Warcraft. It's one of my time-consumers. After reaching level 80, my soul purpose at this point is to get gear. That means that I spend most of my time trying to obtain "justice points" that I then use to buy better gear. Not loads of fun after awhile but it suffices for spending some of my free time. My son has let me know that he thinks it is futile for me to do this, as a new expansion is about to come out and different gear will then be available. Hush. Mom is doing it her way. :)
We bought my son Call of Duty - Black Ops for his new Xbox 360. After getting it, he is constantly asking if I'll play with him. Okay. Let's play. Then we play. Now, just so you know, I'm not competitive and I don't really enjoy war games but I do love my son and want to share in things with him. So, we play and he gets a little frustrated because I'm not watching 20 different directions around me at once. HELLO...I don't care to play these types of games. LOL Oh well, about an hour later I was done playing.
I sit here now, typing this blog and thinking how I need to find something for dinner and that I should probably be looking on the internet for a little Christmas shopping. So, that's if for now. Just another day. ;)
